Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement for the Energy Aspects Group

Overview

The following statement is prepared in fulfilment of Energy Aspects Ltd and its affiliates (together, “Energy Aspects Group”) obligations under the Modern Slavery Act 2015. The Energy Aspects Group recognises that it has a responsibility to take a robust approach to slavery and human trafficking. The Energy Aspects Group does not tolerate any form of modern slavery or human trafficking in its business and corporate activities. References to ‘we’, ‘us’, or ‘our’ are to the Energy Aspects Group. 


Our Business

The Energy Aspects Group delivers industry-leading research and analysis on global energy commodity and macro markets to provide indispensable insights that help guide trading and investment decisions of our clients.


Organisation's Structure

The Energy Aspects Group has over 250 employees worldwide and operates in multiple countries including the UK, USA, India, Dubai, Japan, Greece and Singapore. 


Our Supply Chains

Our supply chain includes data suppliers, professional services, IT services, office supplies and other goods and services necessary for our operations. We work with suppliers from various regions to ensure they adhere to our ethical standards. The location of these service providers are principally made up of low-risk countries (in accordance with the Modern Slavery Index). 


Our Policies on Slavery and Human Trafficking

We have in place systems to:

  • identify and assess potential risk areas in our supply chain;
  • monitor potential risk areas in our supply chains; and
  • protect whistleblowers.


Supplier Adherence to Our Values and Ethics

We have zero tolerance for slavery and human trafficking. To ensure all those in our supply chain and all contractors comply with our values, we have in place a process to identify potential risks in our supply chain. This consists of regular supplier assessments and reviewing contractual obligations to understand the level of compliance of our suppliers with certain ethical standards.

We have a dedicated compliance team, which consists of:

  • the Chief Compliance Officer; 
  • General Counsel; 
  • Legal Associate; and 
  • Energy Aspects’ Procurement team. 


Timing

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes the Energy Aspects Group's slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 31/12/2023.
