Green Marine Fuels Study

Chart a course to decarbonisation

Introduction

Momentum is slowly building towards tightening international regulations to foster greater uptake of lower-carbon fuels, and the shipping industry is coming under pressure from its customers and other stakeholders to take steps that reduce emissions. As such, interest in alternative fuels such as methanol, ammonia and LNG has increased.

How we can help

Our Green Marine Fuels Study (GMF) will help answer the important questions of which fuel will lead shipping decarbonisation, and what steps are needed to advance the uptake of low-carbon fuels in shipping?

In this just published in-depth report, our energy transition experts examine the challenges of reducing GHG emissions in one of the most difficult to decarbonise sectors. Alongside this, the GMF study will look at IMO regulations, European policy, biofuels, advanced fuels and much more.

Our Green Marine Fuels Study is available to all subscribers to our Trading the Transition service and as a standalone multi-client study
